Our Malinalco Migrants' Eagle brooches are inspired by the magnificent stone eagles in the ancient Aztec temple carved into the mountain above Malinalco. As a symbol of the Aztec eagle warriors, these eagles have special significance for our artisans, who see in them a symbol of the high value Malinalco tradition holds for the personal sacrifice one makes for family and community. In this spirit of sacrifice inherited from their Aztec ancestors, our artisans are proud to dedicate the effort they put into creating our Malinalco Migrants' Eagles collection to supporting a project devoted to helping our migrants' children and families.
